This brand new debut EP from The Beat Rootz, Warsaw’s international reggae line up is unlike any other reggae music being made right now. Drawing on Mauritian, UK and Polish influences, since forming in 2018, The Beat Rootz has forged a reputation as the leading light in the resurgence of reggae on the Warsaw music scene. The release of ‘I Love my Life’ EP breathes new life into reggae rhythms and melodies by tapping into reggae, punk, seggae and rock experience and topping it with unique Mauritian lead vocals.

Comprised of four tracks, the record features singer Stefan Auguste, Janusz Rutkowski (Bass), Adrian Pawlak (Drums), Artur Pavian (Guitar), Darek Jasionek (Keyboards) and Aidan Hoyle (Saxophone). Members of the band have played in The Bartenders, Transmisja and X-Ray Spex.

I Love my Life is an evocative listen, an album unlike any other reggae music being made right now.

The Beat Rootz

The Beat Rootz are a band formed in Warsaw drawing on influences from reggae, seggae, punk and Polish rock. Their Mauritian lead singer Stefano Auguste brings a unique musical energy to their collective sound and performance.

Members of the band have played in The Bartenders, Transmisja and X-Ray Spex etc.

The band are currently releasing their debut EP.
